Initial capital raised from angel investors and Digital Insight Technologies was accepted into Founders Factory’s accelerator program, sponsored by Aviva.

We secured seven major clients across sectors, including Zurich Insurance and Hopehead, and partnered with OpenCorporates to integrate its records into our reports.

We rebranded to Xapien and partner with ComplyAdvantage to integrate AML screening data, and Transparency International‘s Corruption Perceptions Index.

Xapien launched commercially with Chris Green joining as CEO. We signed our first US client, Dartmouth College, partnered with Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, and expanded into company-level research through a partnership with Sayari. We were named a Category Leader by Chartis Research and selected for TechNation’s applied AI programme.

We closed a £6m seed round and welcomed Chris Pilling as chairman. Xapien launched its enterprise edition, surpassed 100 customers and 500 users, and earned recognition in Chartis’s KYC Solutions and RiskTech100 reports. We also achieved ISO27000 certification.

We expand into Asia-Pacific and launched Integrity Check, a Dow Jones product powered by Xapien. We ranked in Chartis’s FCC50, winning the Entity Management category, and were named a KYC Data & Solutions Category Leader. We joined TechNation’s Upscale cohort and Google’s AI First accelerator.

A year of growth, partnerships, and recognition. We launched Xapien Xchange, our user community, and hosted the first XapienCon conference. Partner revenue grew to 30% of ARR, with new alliances including global consultancies and Pinsent Masons, while US revenue rose to 43% without in-country hires. We also joined the LawtechUK scaler programme and partnered with Thrive to launch a mentoring programme for women at Xapien.
